The amalgamation of the Warwick and Stanthorpe councils took effect from the 15th of March. The new Southern Downs Regional Council is now moving ahead with the integration of both councils and services. 

Residents are advised that it is business as usual at all offices, depots, libraries, art galleries and swimming pools and we thank you for your patience during this transitional period.
